Buildr is looking for manufacturers in Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Windsor, Barrie and beyond to run the same order desk on their own counter.
No delivery fleet means no delivery fee hidden in the door, and no "it's on the truck somewhere". The door is built in Concord, goes on the pickup shelf within 2 business days of payment, and you get a message the moment it's there. Order the night before, collect on the way to the site.
Most installers in the GTA already pass within a few kilometres of Highway 7 and Keele once a week. That is the whole logistics plan.
